On 21 November 2007, H. E. Ren Xiaoping, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Namibia, presented her Letter of Credence to H.E. Hifikepunye Pohamba, President of the Republic of Namibia at the State House.

Amb. Ren extended the greetings from Chinese PresidentH.E. Hu Jintao to President Pohamba, and expressed her willingness to work hand in hand with the Namibian side to push forward the long-standing friendship and fruitful cooperation between China and Namibia. 

President Pohamba  welcomed Amb. Ren to take her new post  and spoke highly of Namibia-China relations.
